The '''Black golem''' is encountered during the [[Spirits of Elid]] [[quest]]. He guards the north-easternmost door in the [[River Elid]] cave and appears in front of the player, exclaiming "You may not pass!" and must be defeated using the [[crush]] attack style. Alternatively players can kick the golem if no weapon is available.

When defeated, a message in the text box says: "The Golem disappears, but will be back to defend his door."

The Black golem is fightable along with the [[Grey Golem]] and the [[White Golem]] as a class F boss monster in the [[Dominion Tower]] minigame if the player has completed [[Spirits of Elid]] and has 110 [[combat]] or higher.

==Trivia==
* The phrase "You shall not pass!" is a direct quote from [http://www.wikipedia.com Monty Python and the Holy Grail], and Lord of the Rings.
* Contrary to his name, he is brown instead of black.
* The Black golem is the only Golem that doesn't seem slightly damaged on one arm.
