The '''bathus hatchet''' is a Tier 2 [[hatchet]], found in [[Daemonheim]]. It requires level 10 [[Attack]] to wield, and level 10 [[Woodcutting]] to chop the various trees in [[Daemonheim]], or to clear the [[Woodcutting]] doors.<br />

It can be made from one [[Bathus bar]], requiring level 12 [[Smithing]] and giving 20 experience. It is a possible drop from the [[Bulwark Beast]], or you can get it from starting table of dungeon. While [[Dungeoneering]], the Bathus hatchet is commonly used, as the [[Smuggler]] sells them (rather than smithing one) for a little over 1,000 [[coins]]. However, the [[Marmaros hatchet]] is more desirable as its price is still low at 2,000 coins and players usually wish to get the highest available tier.<br />

Binding this item is not recommended as players may add it to their dungeoneering toolbelt to keep it between floors. If the player does not have the required woodcutting level to use it, it will automatically function as the highest level hatchet they can use.<br />
