The '''Bat staff''' was added on [[4 August]], [[2010]] as part of the [[Update:Elite Treasure Trails and New Rewards|Elite Treasure Trails and New Rewards update]]. To wield it you need 40 [[Magic]], 40 [[Attack]], 60 [[Prayer]] 20 [[Defence]]. When a player has both a [[bat mask]] and a bat staff equipped, the player has the option to do a special [[emote]]. Each staff is connected with an unlimited elemental rune. This staff gives unlimited [[Air rune]]s. It also gives the same bonuses as a [[mystic air staff]], but with +2 summoning defence and +6 prayer.<br />
