A '''basket''' can be used to carry up to five pieces of [[fruit]]. Empty baskets may either be purchased from [[farming shop]]s around ''[[RuneScape]]'', or crafted by players with a [[Crafting]] level of 36. Crafting a basket yields 56 Crafting [[experience]]. This process involves weaving 6 [[Willow branch]]es by using a [[loom]]. This is one of the tasks in the Medium [[Falador Tasks]] set (by using the loom inside the farmhouse west of the cabbage patch).

The ''Fill'' option will instantly fill a basket with up to 5 fruits from the player's [[inventory]]. In the past, if one wanted to remove fruits from the basket, they could only be removed one at a time using the Remove-one option. However, [[Jagex]] has added an ''Empty'' option that will empty the basket into the inventory (unless the inventory is full).

Baskets can be filled with [[cooking apple|apples]], [[banana]]s, [[orange]]s, [[Strawberry|strawberries]] or [[tomato]]es. Training Crafting by making baskets is not recommended, as the loss is {{Coins|Amount={{#vardefineecho:craftingprofit|{{#expr:{{GEP|Basket}}-{{GEP|Willow branch}}*6 }} }} }} coins per basket, or {{Coins|Amount={{#expr:{{#var:craftingprofit}}/56 round 2}} }} coins per experience point.
