'''Bandos tassets''' are a part of [[Bandos armour]] set, requiring 65 [[Defence]] to wear. They are dropped by [[General Graardor]] and his bodyguards in the [[God Wars Dungeon]]. Bandos tassets are currently one of only six leg armours to provide a strength bonus, the others being [[Vesta's Plateskirt]], [[Torva platelegs]], [[Statius's platelegs]], [[Battlemage legs]] and [[Vanguard legs]]. Bandos tassets held the record for having the best range defence for leg armour before the release of [[PvP]] worlds where both Vesta's Plateskirt and Statius's platelegs surpassed them. Despite [[Dragon platelegs]] being considerably cheaper and offering only slightly less defence bonuses (but having +3 more slash defence), Bandos tassets are considered to be the best leg armour in terms of cost, as they do not degrade or require replacement. As with all other [[God Wars Dungeon]] [[Armour]], they have a +1 [[Prayer]] bonus. They are one of the most expensive leg armours in the game. They are often paired with a [[bandos chestplate]] or a [[fighter torso]] when worn for [[combat]] because of their good [[Defence|defensive bonuses]] and [[Strength]] bonuses.

Bandos tassets, despite being a piece of leg armour of the same material, has a higher [[High Level Alchemy]] value than its corresponding body armour, a bandos chestplate.

*In a [[Hidden Update]] on [[3 July]] [[2012]] the tassets received a graphical update to match those already in the [[beta]]. This was later revealed to be an [http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/sl=0/forums.ws?15,16,97,63850277 unplanned update], as the new tassets weren't compatible with the old player model. The new look of tassets was made permanent in an update on Wednesday [[11 July]] [[2012]].
*Currently parts of the Bandos tassets vanish when a Bandos chestplate is also equipped. Whether this is intended is uncertain.
