The '''Axe head''' is a discontinued random event, in which the [[axe]] head flew off the handle while the player was [[Woodcutting]] . To fix it, the player had to collect it off the ground and reattach it to the handle. A similar thing used to happen to players while [[Mining]], only with a [[pickaxe head]] and [[pickaxe handle]]. Note that it was usually cheaper to buy a new axe than the axe head. This can't happen anymore, as [[Jagex]] removed this random event and all axe heads were removed from the game.

==Trivia==
*Since these items were discontinued before the introduction of the [[dragon pickaxe]], there was never such thing as a dragon 'pickaxe head'.
