'''Armadyl's book of law''' is a book held in place of a shield, and is the [[God book]] aligned with [[Armadyl]]. It can be purchased from [[Jossik]] for 5,000 coins. Books of law must be made using all four torn [[Armadyl page]]s which can be purchased from other players, obtained from [[treasure trails]] or by cremating a [[Vyre corpse]]. Equipping a Book of law allows the player to preach and perform ceremonies, such as blessing, last rites, and wedding rites by operating it (none of which have any effect on the game itself, and are simply recited lines of text). Lost Books of Law can be reclaimed at the [[Lighthouse]] by speaking to [[Jossik]], complete with all pages that have been added, for no cost.

After completion of [[One Piercing Note]], if the book has all four pages, and you have 60 [[crafting]] and 60 [[prayer]], you can use it to create an [[Illuminated book of law]]. This leaves you with both the Armadyl's book of law and an Illuminated book of law.

Armadyl's book of law is commonly used by rangers, as it provides +6 ranged attack, only 2 less than the [[Zamorak's unholy book]], but is a lot cheaper than the latter. It is especially good for ranging [[Aviansie]] in the [[God Wars Dungeon]], as it provides a +6 ranged defence bonus which the unholy book lack, meaning you would be hit less often. It also protects you from all Armadyl combatants other than [[Kree'arra]] and his bodyguards unless you attack first.

Performing blessings, wedding ceremonies, last rites or preachings uses up 25% of the [[special attack]] bar.
