Players can create this item on either a [[Teak eagle lectern]], or [[Mahogany eagle lectern]] as long as they have 2 [[Law rune]]s, 2 [[Water rune]]s, and 1 [[Soft clay]] and at least level 51 [[Magic]]. [[Elemental staves]] can be substituted for runes and are recommended when making teleport tablets in large groups at a time.

This tablet can be used regardless of the player's current spell book as long as they have completed the [[Plague City|Plague City quest]].

Many players choose to make Ardougne teleport tablets to make money. The following table shows the amount of profit generated when using no staff, and using any water rune supplying staff or a [[Tome of Frost]].
