It cannot be taken in any way, even through [[telekinetic Grab|telegrabbing]]. When the "take" option is selected, [[Ahab]] yells at the player, "Oi! Leave me beer alone!". When a telegrab is attempted, Ahab says, "Oi! Don't be casting spells on me beer!". When examined on the table, it simply reads "Looks nice."

At the moment, it serves absolutely no purpose. It appears to just be there for a bit of decoration. However, the item appears in [[Quick Chat]]

Ahab's beer was originally named "[[beer]]" but was later changed to "Ahab's beer".
