The '''adamant battleaxe''' is a battleaxe weapon. This variety of batteaxe is a higher end weapon, with its strength in between that of the [[mithril battleaxe]] and the [[rune battleaxe]]. Like all adamant weapons, players must have at least level 30 [[Attack]] to wield it. Players can craft an adamant battleaxe via the [[Smithing]] skill at level 80 from 3 [[Adamant bar]]s, which provides the player with 187.5 Smithing [[experience]]. This weapon is much more commonly found as a monster drop or other sort of random reward such as shade chests in mort'ton. Players can also purchase this weapon from the [[Brian's Battleaxe Bazaar]] specialty store in [[Port Sarim]]. It can also, like most items, be bought from the [[Grand Exchange]] in [[Varrock]].
===Common usages===
The adamant battle axe, being something of a "middle child" is generally regarded to be of trivial value. It is not a weapon of great effectiveness, nor is it in any great way sought after. Generally players which have obtained this item have no interest in keeping it unless they are in the very specific combat level range where this is one of the best items available to the player. These items are a good example of a 'cash drop,' an item which the player will take, but ultimately exchange for cash via either selling or alching. This item is a very good item to use for mass high alc training, as there is usually a large amount of them on the market, and their exchange value and high alchemy value are very close, at the moment players can profit from buying and alching these items, although it is only a few coins per alch.
