The '''Abyssal charm''' is an [[Items|item]] used in [[Summoning]]. Although it is called a charm, like the primary charms used in Summoning, it is actually a tertiary ingredient in Summoning pouches, although the triple charm drop bonus from [[Familiarisation]] can still increase the drop rate of abyssal charms.

When making pouches, it is always used with [[green charm]]s. It is used to create pouches for the following familiars:

* [[Abyssal lurker]] - level 62
* [[Abyssal titan]] - level 93

*[[Abyssal Leech]]es level 86, 100 LP - 1 at a time; easiest to kill.
*[[Abyssal Guardian]]s level 59, 500 LP - 1 at a time.
*[[Abyssal Walker]]s level 81, 950 LP - 2 at a time.
*[[Abyssal Demon]]s level 124, 1500 LP - 2 at a time; very slim chance of drop (Not recommended to camp these for abyssal charm drops).

All of these, except for demons, are located in the multi-combat [[Abyss]]. All four are located in the single-combat [[Abyssal Area]].

To enter the Abyss, players must ask the [[Zamorak mage]] to teleport them there. The mage is located just north of [[Edgeville]] in level 6 [[Wilderness]]. The leeches, guardians, and walkers are all aggressive, and the southern areas of the Abyss have many of the higher-level monsters. Once in the Abyss it is advised to go to the northwest, where many lower-levelled leeches are located.

The Abyssal Area, [[Fairy ring]] code ALR, is safer than the Abyss, since it is a single combat area. At least partial completion of [[Fairytale II - Cure a Queen]], however, is required to use the fairy rings.
