Make sure to bring a [[Nose peg]] or a [[Slayer helmet]] to the fight, otherwise the Aberrant Spectre Champion will constantly hit 200+ on you and drain your combat skills and [[Agility]]. The rule you must follow when fighting this champion is that you must use a two-handed weapon, such as a [[spear]] or a [[two-handed sword]]. Note that if you have a [[Slayer]] task of [[Aberrant Spectres]], killing this champion does '''not''' count towards the number of kills for your task. Despite his level, the Aberrant Spectre Champion is an easy foe, as all his attacks can be stopped by the [[Protect from Magic]] prayer. You may want to bring some prayer boosting gear as well as some [[prayer potions]] just to ensure your victory, and remember to bring a '''nosepeg''' or '''Slayer helmet'''. Fast weapons are quite helpful to finish the Champion quickly, and if using [[ranged]], a [[Crystal bow]], [[Zaryte bow]], [[Karil's crossbow]] or [[Magic shortbow]] with [[rune arrow]]s is suggested. Magic is not recommended due to the Champion's high Magic defence and the lack of two-handed magic weapons.<br />
