At 0.02 coins per LP healed, it was one of the cheapest [[food]]s in terms of coins to LP. They had no further use other than a cheap food option. This could be useful for free players training at the Karamja Volcano for those who do not have access to [[lobster]] or [[swordfish]] [[fishing]], or just simply to save some time from fishing.<br />

*Açaí is based on the real-life [[wikipedia:Açaí palm|Açaí palm tree]] fruit. The trees bear berries similarly coloured to Açaí. These berries are often sold as a health food or energy supplement.<br />
*The bowl's colours are a reference to the [[wikipedia:Brazil|Brazilian]] [[wikipedia:Flag of Brazil|flag]], which has the Açaí as a local sweet. Also, if one looks in the lower left corner of the image, they can see something that looks similar to a piece of the symbol in the Brazilian flag.<br />
