Players could visit [[Santa Claus|Father Christmas]] on RuneScape from five of the most popular towns on RuneScape which included [[Varrock]], [[Falador]], [[Ardougne]], [[Catherby]] and [[Yanille]]. Santa Claus would give out free [[yo-yo]]s to any player who had talked to him as part of a Christmas Present. The simplicity of this event may not have been the fact that [[Jagex]] may have not had time to put any structure into this [[quests|quest]] but in fact the high amount of requests from players for a new holiday item.<br /> <br /> Many players were disappointed because the new Christmas holiday item was untradeable, however mostly this was because Jagex began to realise that their holiday items would continue to rise in price if they began to make them tradeable again. Many players had attempted to make the [[yo-yo]] tradeable, along with the [[scythe]]. However this led to more conflict as a few players had managed to find a way to duplicate these items, including [[partyhat]]s.
