The name Ardal is a reference to the actor Ardal O'Hanlon who played Father Dougal McGuire in the series. The other two are named [[Frank (Poison Arrow)|Frank]] and [[Dermot]], supposedly after Frank Kelly and Dermot Morgan, both characters in the series.
