The Tz-Kih is a level 22 monster found in the TzHaar Fight Pits and Fight Caves.
Fight Caves
In the fight cave, it is the first enemy you will have to kill. It resembles a fiery bat and can hit up to 44 life points. Each hit it inflicts on a player, whether it inflicts damage or not, will drain the player's Prayer points, thus making it a very dangerous foe. The amount of prayer removed is equal to the damage it hits plus ten, rounded down. For example, if a Tz-Kih hits its maximum hit (44), it will drain 54 prayer points. It is dangerous, of course, not because of its level, but because it will drain your prayer, making it harder to kill larger and higher-levelled foes.
If you wish to proceed to the TzTok-Jad, these must be first priority to kill every wave for obvious reasons. It is preferred that you use range or magic against them so that they do not drain your prayer. A good strategy is getting them stuck behind the larger monsters. If using a crossbow, set the attack style to long-ranged.
Trivia
- Despite being batlike, they cannot be killed as part of a Bat slayer assignment.
- The name Tz-Kih in the TzHaar language means Fire Fly.
