Soul Altar

The Soul Altar is currently not in the game, but it is confirmed that there is one somewhere, as in the Abyss there is a soul rift that players cannot enter. The Wicked Hood also has a soul altar option, but when chosen, it simply states that the altar is undiscovered. At one point, Jagex had a picture of a soul talisman on their website (it was found by URL manipulation). The picture has since been removed.

Currently, the only way to craft soul runes for player use is by utilising the Ourania Altar. Attempting to enter the Soul rift in the Abyss will result in the message, "A strange power blocks your entrance". Numerous rumours have spread concerning the Soul Altar's release, although no proof exists for any of them at this time.

Based on the level to siphon soul esswraiths and living souls in the Runespan, it can be assumed that the Altar would require 90 Runecrafting to utilise.
