The Skeletal archer is one of the three undead adventurers of the Skeletal trio boss, found in Daemonheim. It appears to be wearing a Sagitarrian armour set, along with a Sagitarrian longbow and arrows. The skeletal trio is only available to P2P players, in the occult floors. The level and life points of the monster varies from each occult floor in Dungeoneering. Its highest hit so far has been near 500 damage so it is advised for the lower levels to stay calm and check the level. This is often the first member of the trio to be killed during the fight, as players will be praying to block the Skeletal sorcerer's attacks, and the Skeletal Warrior will often be either entangled or trapped behind the archer, effectively making the archer the only skeleton that can harm players. If above level 200 with no friends in the dungeon over level 90 it is advised to leave (unless you have high range or magic levels and 70+ prayer level).

It is however worth noting that despite it's high damage capabilities, it pales in comparison to its comrades, the Skeletal sorcerer and the skeletal warrior, which are capable of dealing damage in the mid-700s at their highest levels, especially in the case of the former. Nevertheless, since players generally trap or bind the warrior and use prayer to render the sorcerer's attacks harmless, the archer is often considered the most dangerous skeleton of the three, as these tactics effectively make it the only threat to players.
