The Mining Guild resource dungeon is a resource dungeon located inside the Mining Guild. It requires level 45 Dungeoneering and level 60 Mining to access. Players are given 4400 Dungeoneering experience upon first entrance. Boosts can be used for the mining requirement to enter the guild. Inside are 8 mithril rocks, 4 adamantite rocks, and 3 runite rocks. The presence of runite in this dungeon makes it very lucrative to mine here, as there are no monsters and these are the only runite rocks available to free players other than in the deep Wilderness.
Trivia
- The release of this dungeon unlocked the safest area to mine runite on F2P servers.
Controversy
- Some players believe that the Dungeoneering requirement is too low, as it is a very good spot for mining on F2P. They believe access to this spot should be more limited to more experienced players.
- Runite, admantite, mithril price suffered a large drop due to this dungeon, the main cause is the new safe runite ore resource to free players, and the considerably shortened banking time. However the other ores are stabilized by members and did not dip seriously.
- As the Dungeoneering requirement is fairly easy to obtain, it is rare to not find anyone else inside.
