Guardians of Guthix

The Guardians of Guthix are the chosen guardians of the most sacred places of the Guthixian religion. These beings are extremely powerful and knowledgeable, and only four are currently known to exist in RuneScape.

Guardians

• Fiara - Guardian of the Fist of Guthix. Fiara is the giant earwig guardian of the Fist of Guthix, a site of powerful magicks that was created by Guthix after the God Wars.
• Juna - Guardian of the Tears of Guthix. Juna is the snake guardian of the Tears of Guthix, an underground spring where Guthix wept his tears for those lost in the God Wars. This site has powerful knowledge inside of it.
• The Balance Elemental - Guardian of the Stone of Jas. The Balance Elemental was given the task to guard the stone after it was removed from the Fist of Guthix area. This Elemental is Level 454 and has power surpassing even that of Juna. It is defeated by the player during the quest While Guthix Sleeps.
• The Valluta - Guardian of the Pest threat. The Valluta is a giant tortoise tasked to stop any threat from other worlds that would attack Gielinor, notably the pests.

If a player asks Juna how she has the ability to speak as an animal, she replies that the Guardians are blessed by Him with great wisdom. Fiara's calling of those who would steal the Fist of Guthix "mortals" imply that she herself is beyond true mortality as a Guardian of Guthix, as supported by the longevity of all four known ones. The mighty Guardians bear terrible power on Gielinor, surpassing that of even certain gods, such as several prominent members of the Desert pantheon as the Valluta could have killed the Pest Queen in one hit.
