The Goblin Champion is a level 24 goblin who dwells in the dungeon under the Champions Guild in the Champion's Challenge minigame. It is a stronger form than that of a normal Goblin. The Goblin Champion can only be found after a player finds a Goblin champion scroll which is dropped by all types of goblins. He uses a weaker version of Earth Wave which has a max hit roughly equivalent to earth strike (60 life points). His attacks have a chance of draining your prayer slightly. Despite being called the Goblin Champion he is actually the 6th strongest goblin after, in order, the 3 Goblin bodyguards in the God Wars Dungeon, the two Goblin Sergeants of Goblin Village, the Goblin guard in the Observatory Quest, and the level 25 goblins, located in the Stronghold of Security.
Tactics
Players can only use Magic against him as Melee and Ranged are prohibited in the fight. Mind that he also attacks with magic, and thus magic armour may be a good idea, although he cannot do much damage if you are a higher level. Cast the best spell you can to deal with him quickly. It is very unlikely that food will be needed, but it could prove useful if you are a lower level.
