Barnabus Hurma is one of the archeologists inside the Varrock Museum in Varrock. He can be seen in free servers though he can only be communicated with in members servers. He is on the same level as the main entrance to the museum in the southwest corner.
If it is your first time exchanging strange rock for experience then you will need to speak with him before adding the rock to the plinth. He will then examine the rock and will allow you to add it to the plinth. (You need two of the same rocks to add to the plinth at the same time.)
With the update on 19 August 2010, he will give you a statue collection bag to store your strange rocks thus freeing up space in your bank or inventory.
Trivia
- There was also an Ogre standing outside Jiggig with his name. When players talk to him it gives the message "Nothing interesting happens." This was most likely a glitch, and Jagex has since changed his name to "Ogre Cook" as well as removing the "talk-to" option. The chompy he is cooking is resting above a very outdated fire along with the fire cooking animation frozen in animation. There are also several other ogres at spitroasts, and they can't be talked to either.
- It was revealed during Cryptic Clue Fest III that his favourite drink is Iron Beer.
